This popular, relaxed bistro in the gorgeous village of Adare is owned by the nearby Dunraven Arms Hotel, and has cleverly found a space in between the formality of Adare Manor and the Wild Geese, and the resolutely relaxed ambience of its parent hotel.
It's a cleverly restored cottage, and the enthusiasm and cheerfulness of the operation are charming. The food is mostly simple - soups, some pastas and good breads at lunchtime, with a more extensive a la carte in the evening.
